To generate knowledge in the field of microorganism–host interactions, promoting its application to human health, sustainable agricultural production, and environmental stewardship. To train highly qualified human resources with an integrative and transdisciplinary perspective. To transfer technology to the productive and social sectors, contributing to the country’s development and to solving concrete societal problems.
