Information about data processing when using the IBBM institutional website.
Scope
This policy applies to the institutional website of the Institute of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology (IBBM), a CONICET–UNLP joint institute.
Data and purpose
The public website does not offer user registration or contact forms. If a person contacts the Institute by email, the information submitted is used to respond to the enquiry and carry out the corresponding institutional process.
The server and security tools may record technical information required to operate and protect the website, such as IP address, date, browser, and requested resource.
Cookies and external services
At this stage, IBBM does not include its own visitor analytics or advertising tools. WordPress and security mechanisms may use necessary technical cookies.
The contact page includes a link to Google Maps. The external service opens only when a person chooses to follow that link and is governed by the provider’s policies.
